"What do you mean? I don’t use deodorant."
- Beach Head (to Mainframe after they escape from a tomb)

Dr. Mindbender, Tomax and Xamot attack Sgt. Slaughter, and while the Joe's Triple-T tank is on fire, missiles from Tomax and Xamot's FANGs strike a canyon wall, causing large boulders to tumble toward him.

Believing that Sgt. Slaughter has been buried alive, Dr. Mindbender flies away on his Trubble Bubble and tells the Crimson Guard Commanders to guard the perimeter while he extracts Sun Tzu’s DNA. But Slaughter continues his drive towards the tomb, much to the chagrin of Dr. Mindbender, who orders a squad of Vipers to attack. Night Raven pilots parachute to the ground and attack Slaughter.

Swatting aside another Cobra agent, Sgt. Slaughter continues to run with several Night Raven pilots on his limbs. Dr. Mindbender orders the twins to attack, but Slaughter kicks Tomax out of the way and begins to spin Xamot over his head. Tomax twirls uncontrollably and begs Slaughter to stop. He does and tosses one Crimson Guard Commander into the other. As Slaughter knocks aside more Cobra agents, Dr. Mindbender finishes extracting the DNA of Sun Tzu, drops a bomb into the burial mound and flies away in his Trubble Bubble. But Sgt. Slaughter grabs the fleeing Flight Pod as the mound explodes.

Hawk and Roadblock arrive and shoot down two of the FANGs in Dr. Mindbender’s group. Dr. Mindbender tries to shoot Slaughter, but the Joe ducks, climbs into the seat and punches Mindbender in the face a couple of times before taking over the Flight Pod’s control.

As Tomax and Xamot attack Slaughter, Dr. Mindbender draws a leg back and kicks Slaughter out, but before falling out, he grabs the DNA extractor and crashes into the twins on the ground. And the extractor device breaks open as it tumbles out of the Joe's hand.

Sci Fi hands Sgt. Slaughter a cup of coffee while they are aboard General Hawk’s plane. And as Hawk mulls over the DNA extractor machine, Roadblock tells him that Alpine has radioed in about the dig for Mainframe and Beach Head. Mutt and Bazooka remove the lid to Vlad Tempes coffin and the two trapped Joes gasp for air. Catching his breath, Mainframe tells Beach Head that he needs to talk to Beach Head about his deodorant. “What do you mean? I don’t use deodorant,” Beach Head replies. “That’s what I want to talk to you about,” Mainframe replies.

After Dr. Mindbender and his troops fly into a Cobra transport jet, Cobra Commander berates Mindbender for failing since Sun Tzu’s DNA was vital to the creation of the Cobra Emperor. Declaring that Mindbender’s project is “deader than disco,” Cobra Commander leaves with Scrap Iron and laughs at his witty insult before telling Scrap Iron that he should have been a comedian. Tomax and Xamot tell Mindbender that their new leader will be even a bigger dweeb than Cobra Commander without Sun Tzu’s DNA. However, Dr. Mindbender plans to steal the genetic code of the greatest soldier of their time - Sgt. Slaughter.
