"Here, take the business end of mine."
- Baroness (after Lady Jaye yells that she needs a gun)

The Joe agrees and asks the man, who he recognizes as King Augeas, to point him to his companions. But the King makes a deal: if Sgt. Slaughter can clean his stables in one day, he will help Sgt. Slaughter find his friends. If the Joe loses, however, Sgt. Slaughter will serve as the King’s slave for eight years. Recognizing the deal as part of the story of Hercules, Sgt. Slaughter agrees.

Lift-Ticket continues to talk to Lady Jaye via radio and she explains that her power is running low. After Lift-Ticket encourages her to sit tight, Beach Head spots a Flight Pod and realizes they need to get the Tomahawk out of sight, so he and the other Joes travel to a cove and travel by foot after they land on a beach.

The Joes spy on Cobra’s base and learn about Dr. Mindbender’s refinery operation. Leatherneck grimly jokes that his history teacher never mentioned Cobra, but Beach Head orders him to be quiet and the Joes silently slip away and travel back to the Tomahawk, where they radio Lady Jaye and explain that because the island is crawling with Cobra agents, they will meet with her at night. “Roger, Lift-Ticket,” Lady Jaye replies. “I’ll have the fancy silverware out for you.”

At the stables of King Augeas, Sgt. Slaughter looks at the stables, grabs a scythe and heads to the river after telling the king to remove the horses from the stables. Sgt. Slaughter begins to hammer the scythe into a rock wall near the river, and the wall quickly crumbles. A make-shift dam is formed and the river’s course is altered to flow through the stables.

The flow of the river subsides and Sgt. Slaughter is accused of not being the real Hercules. But the Joe grabs the King by the collar, lifts him into the air and tells him that they had a bargain. Scared of his opponent's strength, King Augeas quickly explains to Sgt. Slaughter that the Joe’s companions were seen near the island of Minos and then orders his men to help Hercules in his quest.

While Lady Jaye is asleep, several men climb up a cliff near her cave. However, she hears them and quickly aims her gun as they enter the cave. Beach Head jokingly asks, “Whoa! Is that anyway to treat your rescuers?” Lady Jaye apologizes and explains, “A girl can never be too careful.”

Outside the cave, Dr. Mindbender calls the Joes fools since the glow from the coil can be seen for miles at night, and then orders the Baroness and her ground troops to attack. The Joes retaliate and force the Cobra troops to retreat.

Leatherneck and Wet-Suit note that their guns are almost dead, so Lady Jaye leads them deeper into the cave and through an alternate exit.

Leatherneck and Wet-Suit then knock out two Cobra Vipers and creep along the beach toward the Tomahawk with their teammates. But Cobra attacks the Joes again, and their guns are soon empty.

The Vipers attack in hand-to-hand contact, but Sgt. Slaughter arrives with the army of King Augeas, who shout after him, “Yo Joe!”

“We thought you were dead!” Beach Head shouts while following Sgt. Slaughter into battle.
“Hey, this is Hercules you’re talking to!” Sgt. Slaughter replies with a smile.

While the Joes and the Greek soldiers punch their way through the Vipers, Lady Jaye tells her teammates that she has an idea and needs a fresh laser. The Baroness leaps in front of Lady Jaye and tells her, “Here, take the business end of mine.” But Lady Jaye twists and whips out a kick that knocks the Baroness to the ground and her gun into the air. The Joe catches the gun, places the coil on the ground and fires a shot at it. Sparks again radiate from the coil and the Joes and Cobras disappear. And a lone boy, who misses Lifeline so much, begins to cry on a cliff.

After the Cobras and Joes reappear in their own time, G.I.Joe Conquest X-30s pursue the Cobra Morays, and Dr. Mindbender screams for the Cobra agents to wait for him as the Joes’ missiles are fired at his Flight Pod.

The coil is placed on the deck of the USS Flagg and General Hawk, Lady Jaye and the other Joes watch two spaceships appear above their aircraft carrier. “Isn’t this where we came in?” asks Lady Jaye. An iris on the bottom of one of the ships opens and the coil floats back inside the ship. “There goes the Golden Fleece,” says Lifeline.

A voice then states that the hyperdrive may not be recovered so easily next time, and adds that they are now part of the planet’s history. Although Lifeline is not certain about the origin of the voices the Joes, he hypothesizes that he and his teammates are listening to a telepathic conversation. As the ships fly away, Sgt. Slaughter comments that the aliens are part of their history like the Joes were part of ancient history. Lady Jaye then wonders what the Greeks are saying about them. “That’s an easy one,” Lifeline replies. “Just look inside any history book.”
