"You take a punch in the head or something?"
- Beach Head (after Lifeline states he is the god of healing)

Dr. Mindbender flies above a town and asks his co-pilot, “What has happened to our beautiful battle?” The Night Raven pilot states that they have gone back in time, a thought that Dr. Mindbender would believe to be crazy if not for the evidence placed before his eyes. The Baroness reports that they have found Lady Jaye’s plane, however, neither the Joe nor the coil are present. Dr. Mindbender explains to her that they must find the coil if they are to return to their own time.

While Beach Head stands on a beach and examines a map, Lift-Ticket tries to contact Lady Jaye using the Tomahawk’s radio. When he is finally able to reach her, he climbs out of his chair, yells “Yo Joe” and tells his teammates that he has found Lady Jaye. After asking about her location, she tells her teammates that she has traveled back in time. Lift-Ticket chuckles, then tells his teammates, “She noticed.” Although she is not able to give her exact location (especially since the local station is out of maps, she jokes), Beach Head realizes that they can find her by radio triangulation. However, the Joes will need to find a boat.

Lifeline bandages a young boy’s leg and the villagers begin to whisper the name Asclepius. Beach Head returns from the Tomahawk and asks Lifeline if the villagers have any large boats. Unfortunately, they only have small fishing boats, but Lifeline suggests that they could float the Tomahawk on pontoons. Pointing at his friend, Lift-Ticket comments that Lifeline is pretty smart for a mere medic.

“Correction - I’m the god of healing,” Lifeline tells him. “You take a punch in the head or something?” asks Beach Head. Lifeline explains that the villagers believe him to be Asclepius and cautions that the Joes need to be careful what they say, otherwise, history could be altered.

During the conversion of the Tomahawk, Sgt. Slaughter carries a large tree trunk to the beach and drops it on the ground. And an elderly Greek man points to Sgt. Slaughter and shouts, “Hercules! Hercules!” Meanwhile, a young boy walks up to the Tomahawk and says something in ancient Greek to Lift-Ticket. Seeing the young boy pointing at the helicopter, the pilot explains that his helicopter is called a Tomahawk. But the boy misunderstands and says “Argonaut” and then “Jason.” Lift-Ticket turns away from the boy and whispers in a worried voice, “Oh, boy. Jason and the Argonauts.”

The Baroness reports that the Cobra Morays are almost out of fuel and recommends that they land immediately. Dr. Mindbender agrees and orders her to zero in on his homing beacon. The Cobras land on an island and attack a city, however, the soldiers in the town throw small, flaming balls of napalm at the Cobra agents, who retreat behind some rocks.

Realizing that the napalm can be processed into fuel, the Baroness and the Cobra agents launch their siege against the city. And even though the Cobra agents are outnumbered, the Greek soldiers toss their swords and shields to the ground. Dr. Mindbender congratulates the Baroness and then orders her to find the fuel source and begin the refinery process.

While the Joes paddle up a river, Lifeline reminds the Joes that they need to follow the course of history, otherwise, the changes may cause the future to be changed and the Joes to become homeless.

The refined fuel is poured into a Cobra Flight Pod’s engines and Dr. Mindbender explains to the Baroness, who is hang-gliding on a Cobra CLAW, that she must delay the Joes until their forces are operational again. At first, the Baroness states the job is trickier than it sounds due to their low-tech weapons, but she finds the Joes and attacks. A young boy on top of the Tomahawk points the sky and shouts, “Harpies!” But Leatherneck states that the harpies, half-woman and half-bird creatures, are actually Cobra CLAWs.

Cobra attacks the G.I.Joe team and Beach Head orders his teammates to paddle as fast in order to travel around a rocky pass. But even after they make their goal, the Baroness drops two bombs into the water and the explosion rocks the boat so hard that Sgt. Slaughter is tossed into the river.

The Joes shoot at the CLAWs and destroy two of them before the Baroness and the other Vipers retreat.

While a man watches the battle on a nearby cliff, Beach Head tells Lift-Ticket that they have to turn the boat around, but Lift-Ticket glumly tells his teammate that no one could have survived the rapids, not even Sgt. Slaughter.

However, Sgt. Slaughter washes up on a beach and awakens. Unfortunately, a spear lands near him. Grumbling about the lack of friendly welcomes, the Joe grabs a thick wooden branch and begins to bat his way through the soldiers. On a cliff, a man watches the fight and then claps his hands. A horn is blown and the man who watched the battle earlier walks through the group of soldiers and tells Sgt. Slaughter that they shouldn’t war with one another.
