Original Airdate: September 24, 1985
Red Rocket Burgers, a nationwide chain of drive-in hamburger stands, conceals one of Cobra’s most insidious schemes: the distinctive red rocket that towers beside each restaurant is a real missile, armed with Destro’s photon warhead. The rockets are targeted on the capitols of every nation on earth, and unless those nations surrender to Cobra...!

For many, the only the complaint they have about the show is that no one
dies or even gets hurt. However, in one shot of the episode, a Cobra agent
was not seen escaping from his ASP before it exploded.
Whatever yo do - don't tell the Eco-Warriors unit that a Joe driving an Armadillo
mini-tank casually knocked over a tree in the South American rainforest
(Matthew Pak's 3 3/4" G.I.Joe Collector Guide - Volume Two: The Television Episodes).
At one of the Extensive Enterprise offices, the Crimson Guard commanders
travel from the 29th floor to the their office of the 22nd floor, a number
which matches their own duality. However, what have Tomax and Xamot stored on the other seven floors?
Similar to the episode "Operation Mind Menace," the hissing sound of
Luke's practice droid on the Millennium Falcon is heard while the ASPs
begin to fire at the G.I.Joe WHALE. As the battle continues, the special
effects sound for the lightsaber from Star Wars is heard.
The episode was released as volume
6 in the FHE commercial tape series.

Movie Clip: Cobra Commander frequently seizes control of the television airwaves
in order to demonstrate his latest weapon and price, which is usually either
control of the world or an outrageous sum of money. However, in this episode,
Cobra Commander's speech is neither slightly humorous nor close to cardboard
his delivery. Instead, he speaks with a voice supressing rage and his delivery is very clean and contained. This moment sets a precedent regarding just how vicious Cobra Commander appears to the general public and, I believe, is one of the highlights in the series because of the level of seriousness voice actor Christopher Latta could take his character.
