Although the Ron Friedman is credited with writing the teleplay, Buzz Dixon wrote the entire miniseries.

While attacking Cobra's forces, Cross Country yells, "Jeb Stuart - you are avenged!" James Ewell Brown (JEB) Stuart was a Confederate soldier who was so renown for his reconnaissance skills that General Lee stated: "He never brought me a piece of false information." Since the use of the reference is not clear, the connection between Cross Country's exclamation and the battle at Genghis Khan's tomb may have been lost during an edit.

While the FANGs are flying away from the camera, a Strato-Viper's uniform was incorrectly colored blue and silver rather than black, red and grey.

While swimming to Alexander the Great's tomb, Destro appears out of his diving suit.

While approaching Dr. Mindbender, a Viper appears in front of Sgt. Slaughter, however, the character becomes a Strato-Viper in the next shot.

The part of the shirt under Tomax's sash was incorrectly colored red instead of blue.

The VAMP Mark II behind Junkyard was colored green instead of beige.

Although Destro is seen retreating from the battle at Genghis Khan's tomb, the Baroness, who was not present at the skirmish, is heard shouting the order to retreat.

As in the preview sequence for the third episode, a Cobra Eel changes into an AVAC between shots.

Daina's character design changes throughout the episode. From right to left: all white, pink with white fur, white jacket and black pants, dark grey with white fur (twice)
