SUMMARY

"Hey! We like you, too! You wanna bite outta my donut?"
- Ripper (after Cobra Commander tells the Baroness that the Dreadnoks will protect him)

While the Baroness attempts to capture Serpentor and his forces, who are inside a freighter, the Cobra Emperor receives a message from Dr. Mindbender. On the following morning, two Tomahawks land on the USS Flagg and General Hawk discover their mission - to support Serpentor's side in the Cobra Civil War. However, as part of the deal, the "black box" that was stolen from the Joes will be returned. Hawk exercises his command option by joining the Joes as they travel to Cobra Island, where Lt. Falcon is ordered to attack a airport tower so that his teammates have a greater chance of landing on the island in one piece. With the help of Captain Minh, a sailor who escorted the false Cobra Commander to Cobra Island and lost his boat in the process, the Joes sneak into the tower and terminate the Cobra agents. And thanks to the firepower carried by the WHALE carrying Cutter's team and Wild Bill's helicopter, the Joes are able to land two C-130 transport planes on Cobra Island. Serpentor bursts out of the freighter and heads to the airfield to join the Joes. At the same time, Cobra Commander arrives with the Dreadnoks and the Thunder Machine, which drills one of the C-130 planes and zooms past the Joe forces so that Buzzer can grab General Hawk. As Cobra Commander speeds away, Serpentor arrives on the scene and Zartan, who is on Cobra Commander's side, arrives with a column of Maggot tanks. Cobra Commander, however, runs into Destro's forces, who are not aligned with anyone in the Cobra Civil War.

AGPs launch from an underground base and join with Destro's DEMON tank column as he lands his Despoiler on top one of the DEMONs.
