Mother of Mercy - they're Joes.

Home Toy Commercial Animation Python Patrol (1989)

Some days it just doesn't pay to be a snake handler.
After placing the python on an operating table, Cobra Commander copies the snake's skin design onto captured G.I.Joe vehicles. Pink Floyd-esque music is breifly played before Cobra Commander brags, "Now I will crush G.I.Joe's Tiger Force."
What happens when you cross the Taj Mahal with a cobra-obsessed individual like Cobra Commander? Take a look at the image on the left. Columns have a scaly surface, they are wrapped with a snake's body and are topped with a cobra's hooded head.
Like the last shot for the Tiger Force animation sequence, the Python Patrol sequence closes with a close-up shot of the animal related to the team's name. As the python opens its mouth, the camera zooms in to show the toys during the commercial's review session. (And because the snake has one eye larger than the other, doesn't it look like it is cocking an eyebrow at the audience?)
