Contents:
· US second season opening sequence
· "Arise, Serpentor, Arise!"
· US second season closing sequence
Notes:
· Ron
Friedman was credited for writing the script, however, this is historically
inaccurate. Buzz Dixon
created the story and wrote the script
· The label is white with black writing and noted that the catalog number is
27352
· The box has the dimensions of 7 7/16" x 4 3/16" x 1 1/16" and incorrectly states
on the back that the tape was recorded in SLP mode and is 148 minutes
· The
sticker on the box states that the tape was "Exclusively manufactured and
distributed by MCA Home Video Canada a division of MCA Canada Ltd. 2450
Victoria Park Avenue, Willowdale, Ontario M2J 4A2"
· The art on the front of the box is a recreation of the 1986 toy catalog artwork, which is shown below:
Strangely, some changes were made for the video's artwork; for example, Beach Head is wearing a purple uniform and Low-Light is seen in a tan jacket
· The cover art also appears on the following videos: FHE - ID8417V, Polyband - 95801 and Video One (partially used)
· On the back of the box, Repeater, Spearhead and Skidmark are seen riding the G.I.Joe Desert Fox, however, neither the characters nor the vehicle appear in the miniseries
My thanks to Kevin Jones for helping me identify the characters and vehicle on the back cover
