Home Toy Commercial Animation Sgt. Slaughter mail-in figure (1985)

As seen by the image on the left, the character design for Sgt. Slaughter originally included a red, white and blue USA logo on his shirt and black gloves. This scene is also the only time you will see Sgt. Slaughter execute a high kick.
Instead of using the voice actors for Lift Ticket (Michael Bell) and Flint (Bill Ratner) from the animated TV series, Ed Gilbert (the voice of General Hawk) provided the voice for Flint and possibly Lift Ticket in order to lower the production costs of the animation sequence.
