The Cobra transport plane arrives on the Roof of the World and Destro and Major Bludd roll out a drill machine while on the other side the Joe team uses glacier sleds to slide through caverns that run from the outside of the ring to the inside. As Joe and Cobra forces go through the ring surrounding the laser core, Zartan and his Dreadnoks climb up the face of the ring.

Back at Cobra Temple, the impatient Cobra Commander tosses a chair into his viewscreen's control panel and orders the Crimson Guard who arrives at the sound of the noise to discipline the officer in charge of the maintaining the faulty communications equipment. After the Cobra agents leave Roadblock surprises and grabs the Cobra Commander, runs out of the room and throws him into several guards. Diving under a closing door, Roadblock and Honda Lou walk away until they are cut off by Scrap Iron who is carrying a flamethrower.

Cobra Commander tosses his two newest prisoners with Duke and Snake Eyes into the Arean of Sport. After a round of introductions and friendly banter the Joes and Honda Lou encounter the Endgame program.

The Cobra and Joe teams reach the inside of the ring and soon the two sides are playing ice hockey with the laser core as the puck and using their guns as the hockey sticks. And during the fight, Storm Shadow saves Spirt from a small avalanche and announces that his debt has been paid to Spirit. However, Zartan and his Dreadnoks are able to grab the laser core by attaching magnets on ropes onto the core and dragging it away by using their motorcycles.

Once Zartan is at the top of a ridge, he announces to both sides that the laser core is now up for bid, and then he fires a shot to the opposite side of the ring and causes an avalanch.

The Cobras escape thanks to the Baroness and her squadron of Rattlers, however, the Joes run back to the cavern entrance only to find a wave of snow falling toward them.
