"Is it possible that Bree is a parody of Barbie? They're both cute and
blonde, they're both extremely materialistic, and they both have a penchant
for pink things! Bree's semi-clothed state at her family's ski lodge in
the Rockies suggests that she and Lifeline may have done more than just
eat dinner..." (Matthew Pak's 3 3/4" G.I.Joe Collector Guide - Volume
Two: The Television Episodes).
Lifeline has repeatedly stated that he won’t touch a weapon. Strangely,
a Swiss Army knife, which normally includes at least one knife blade (but
was not seen in the episode), is not considered a weapon.
Van Mark at one point describes his weapons as "more powerful than you
can imagine." Considering the number of Star Wars sound samples,
one must wonder if the line is a nod the film Star Wars: A New Hope, which
has the following piece of Obi-Wan Kenobi dialogue: "If you cut me down,
I will grow more powerful than you can possibly imagine."
Like the Marvel comic book commercial for issue
49 (left), an early Serpentor character design that features a costume
that is mostly red instead of gold appears in the episode (right).

Bree's last name is Van Mark, not Mark, which is seen on the Swiss Army knife. |

Before the creation of Tiger Force and Python Patrol, groups that included repainted enemy vehicles, Cobra Snow Cats appeared in the Sunbow series. |
|
The microphone piece on Lifeline's helmet was colored white (right) instead of red (right).

Gently holding her chin, Lifeline raises her head slightly and kisses her. "Yo Joe," Bree purrs warmly. And she slips her arms around Lifeline’s neck and kisses him back while planes fly over them. [1.37 mb]
