OBSERVATIONS
Although the Ron Friedman is credited with writing the teleplay, Buzz Dixon wrote the entire miniseries.

After Sgt. Slaughter is shot with a stun gun, Dr. Mindbender orders the BATs to carry the Joe to the punishment module, a device that may have been a nod to the agony booth in the Star Trek episode "Mirror, Mirror."

Before visiting Dr. Mindbender's lab, Cobra Commander, who is holding a pill, tells Scrap Iron that he will make sure “things get out of hand.” By combining the close-up shot of the pill, which would be dropped into the DNA and cause a mutated creature to be born, with the comment of “things get out of hand,” the Sunbow staff foreshadowed the next scene through a wonderful visual play on words and images.

As Tomax, Xamot and several Vipers attempt to capture Sgt. Slaughter, the Joe grabs the gooey remains of the creature and tosses it at the Twins, who shout, “He blobbed us!” Their line is probably a reference to the film Ghostbusters because of Bill Murray's famous line "He slimed me."

ERRORS
Although Dr. Mindbender dons a pair of purple gloves, they disappear and change color while he is tinkering in the lab.

The back of Destro's collar was colored black instead of red.

The sign behind Destro appears to say "Ian" or "Van the Terrible" rather than "Ivan the Terrible."

Lifeline was inked with a lighter shade of red while the Joes were running toward the Terrordrome.

Iceberg was incorrectly inked as Caucasian (Matthew Pak's 3 3/4" G.I.Joe Collector Guide - Volume Two: The Television Episodes).

Mainframe appears in two places at once while the Joes are inside the Terrordrome.
