As mentioned in the October 2005 G.I.Joe Collector's Club newsletter, a series of figures that are based on the storylines in "G.I.Joe: The Revenge of Cobra" and "Satellite Down" will be released over the next 15 months.
However, when asked if the upcoming toys, collectively called Operation: Flamming MOTH, will tie directly into Sunbow's series in any way, club president Brian Savage explained: "No. The concept is the same. The storylines are different."
Since JoeGuide.com is dedicated to sharing news and promoting Sunbow staff projects and products related to the cartoon series, the banner for the upcoming toy line from the G.I.Joe Collector's Club has been removed.
