With Dial-Tone working for me, Serpentor is as good as finished.
-- Cobra Commander (after Zarana informs him that Dial-Tone has joined Cobra)
Home Toy Commercial Animation Action Figures - Part I (1990)

The commercial begins with a shot of Sgt. Slaughter who informs the audience about three of the newest G.I.Joe recruits, but he is interrupted with an animated version of the Cobra Overlord, who responds with his newest troops in Cobra.
The animation appears saturated for all the sequences but the Night Creeper. Fortunately, the transitions from the live-action to animated scenes vary in style and effectively break up the monotony.
A Highlander-esque transition occurs when the the Night Creeper uses his sword to cut the cel, which peels back to reveal a shot of the next toy, the Cobra Overlord.
